Staying Inside

SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- After 26 consecutive days of measurable rain, Seattle is closing in on a record so dismal even forecasters in this city famous for its gray skies are complaining.
With more wet weather predicted over the next several days, Seattle may soon break a record set in 1953. The city saw 33 consecutive days of measurable precipitation then -- the most since the National Weather Service office there started tracking rainfall in 1931.
Though Seattle is famous for its rain, the city's average annual rainfall from 1970 to 2000 was 37.07 inches, compared to 49.71 inches for New York City

I guess we will have to continue to play inside!

Jenn, Mike, and Samuel,

Happy New Year. Samuel is so cute. It is hard to believe that 6 months has gone by so quickly, but now is when the work of having an infant becomes less and you can really have fun watching Samuel grow. Enjoy the years because they go by too quickly - my oldest is now 23 and my youngest is 11.
Sorry I missed seeing all of you. I wish I had known you were going to be in GR on the 28th I would have loved to met up with you. The school year at GHS is going very quickly - our semester ends this week with exams. I have 2 chemistry classes and I love it. Take care and we will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.. Let us know if you need anything... you know that this GHS family is here to help. Love, Ann LaRoche and family
